If you never (or seldom) need web and email links formatted to show as hyperlinks you can stop PowerPoint from automatically formatting them this way. Choose File > Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options and click the AutoFormat as You Type tab. Disable the Internet and network paths with hyperlinks checkbox and click Ok. Now hyperlinks won’t be created automatically in future.
